The Catholic
Church in Cameroon
is part of the worldwide Roman
Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the
Pope
and curia in
Rome.
The Roman Catholic Church is the world's largest Christian Church, and its
largest religious grouping. There are an estimated 4.25 million baptized
Catholics in the Republic of Cameroon, 26% of the population, in 23
Dioceses.
There are 1,350 priests and 2,600 men and women in religious
orders.
