WORK EXPERIENCE Oct. 1989 to Present: - Director, “The Evangelization Station”. Provided seminars, parish missions, and lectures, nationally and internationally, on the teachings of the Catholic Church, including but not limited to evangelization, apologetics, theology, and culture of life issues. Developed and taught 10, 36 and 44-week courses on Catholic theology. Authored numerous pamphlets on various aspects of Catholic religion. Host of Catholic Footsteps Live (Radio program).
Mar. 2006 to Feb. 2008: - Founder/president, Pope John Paul II Society of Evangelists, and School of Evangelization, inc. ™ Directed the overall operations of the Society.
Jan. 1990 to Oct. 2003: - Owner, Catholic Footsteps Bookstore, Hesperia, CA. Managed day-to-day operations, including sales, accounts payable/receivable, inventory control, customer service, etc.
Jan. 1986 – Oct. 1989 - Branch Manager, Encyclopedia Britannica. Responsible for the administration of field office, recruiting, training and supervision of sales representatives serving the California High Desert, from San Bernardino, CA, north to Nevada border.
Oct. 1982 - Jan. 1986 - Senior Organizational Effectiveness Consultant, U.S. Navy. Provided consultant services in organizational development including but not limited to: goal setting and clarification, system/program assessment, leadership and management development, long range and strategic planning, CEO transition management, identification of systemic factors affecting equal opportunity, assessing impact of system programs on quality of life, management of committee/task force meetings, participation in problem solving/decision making processes, organization design/redesign, introduction of new technology and skills, incorporation of groups of people into existing organizations and tailored workshops and training. Developed and taught an eight-hour course on personal stress management. Over time, the course became the Navy-wide norm for personnel assigned to environments characterized by higher than average rates of alcoholism, suicide, and depression, i.e., Antarctica, submarine service, etc). The course was also tailored to meet the needs of specific high stress groups, such as pilots, air traffic controllers, and dentists.
1974 - Oct. 1982 - Regional Training Director, U.S. Navy Recruiting. Designed and administered a region-wide sales and marketing training program for 175 field representatives and eight area managers. Prepared directives for program implementation and management. Recruiting troubleshooter: Conducted field visits to plan local marketing strategies, develop team emphasis, and to analyze and problem solve. Provided specialized technical guidance to field representatives and area managers during one-on-one and group training sessions.
